The Underlayment Matters
The tile is the visible part of the roof, but the underlayment and flashing beneath it also help protect the property from water. If those materials are damaged or aging, additional repairs may be needed.
Some tiles can be carefully removed and reset while the underlayment is repaired. The right approach depends on the tile’s condition, availability, and risk of breakage.
